Lisa Hogan the tall Irish Actress
Lisa Hogan is a screenwriter, actress, and former model. Lisa was born in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. She is the Irish-born girlfriend of former Top Gear host and the world’s favorite farmer Jeremy Clarkson.
Lisa’s father is Maurice Hogan, and her mother is Arlene Hogan a fashion model. Educated in the prestigious private school Alexandra College, Lisa entered the acting world in the early 1990s, where she was hired as a researcher by Faulty Towers and Monthy Python star John Cleese.
She is well-known for her roles in Fierce Creatures (1997) and Clarkson’s Farm (2021). Her first film performance was Fierce Creatures, a comedy starring Michael Palin, John Cleese, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Her acting instructor in high school pushed her to seek a scholarship in a prominent drama program near London. She got admitted into London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts at the age of 18 in 1996. (RADA). Hogan worked as a receptionist over summer break during her first year at RADA to help pay her tuition. That same year, she landed two roles in independent films in her native Ireland, which led to further possibilities following graduation. Lisa Hogan also attended Alexandra College.
Lisa lists her favorite on-screen appearance was in Loose Women. She described it as her most difficult role to date. Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep, Angela Lansbury, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Colin Firth, and Emily Mortimer are among the actors she has worked with. She stated that they were all quite supportive of her throughout the shooting. Meryl Streep assisted Lisa Hogan with her lines anytime she was having difficulty remembering them. She described Meryl Streep as a second mother on set because she always considered herself before everyone else. Fierce Creatures was Meryl Streep’s most difficult onscreen role, which she described as a huge duty.
In a previous life, Lisa was married to Baron Steven Bentinck, with whom she had three children. In 2017 Hogan began a relationship with Jeremy Clarkson, the motoring commentator, journalist, farmer, and writer. Lisa is often seen as the calming and solutions-oriented character in the Amazon television series Clarkson’s Farm.
Lisa had previously sculpted and was the founder of LGH Sculptures. Her creative work centered around humans and animals. Lisa stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and in the past, worked as a model. Raymond Keaveney is her stepfather and she has a sister named Aoibhne Hogan.
Clarkson opened the Diddly Squat Farm Shop in Chipping Norton in 2020, selling local produce, food, and drinks to locals and visitors. When she’s not filming the Clarkson’s Farm series, Lisa’s working the shop or snuggled up alongside her main squeeze at a Chelsea football match.
